Encompassing a fifth of the Zoo’s 17ha footprint, Te Wao Nui offers both locals and tourists a truly unique and immersive experience of New Zealand’s animals, plants and culture.

Te Wao Nui is a celebration of New Zealand. It explores the past, showcases the present, and focuses on the future - and we are proud to have been involved in this iconic project.
