Landscape Installation
Silverdale to Bombay Hills

Demonstrates:

  • Resources to plant en-masse: 70,000 plants planted over a one month period leading up to the  2011 Rugby World Cup

  • Capability for night time projects, involving traffic control

The Auckland Motorway Alliance (AMA) is a consortium of engineers, consultants, surveyors and landscapers. AMA is responsible for 120km of roads from Silverdale to Bombay Hills, including the Western Motorway and State Highway 20.

Since 2008 the beautification of the Motorway system has begun turning unsightly roading into well landscaped corridors. Auckland Motorway work is unique in the fact that it runs through all three of Auckland main eco-sourcing corridors (Manukau, Tamaki & Rodney).
